Itinerary
Welcome to Sri Lanka! Our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Sigiriya. This beautiful city is located in the heart of Sri Lanka's cultural triangle and is home to the UNESCO-listed Sigiriya Rock Fortress. After checking into your hotel and freshening up, you'll have the rest of the day to explore the area, relax by the pool, or take an optional tour of a nearby elephant orphanage.

After breakfast, we'll head to the historic city of Kandy. En route, we'll stop at the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site that boasts over 150 statues and murals depicting the life of Buddha. In Kandy, we'll visit the Temple of the Tooth, one of the most sacred places of worship for Buddhists, which houses the tooth relic of the Buddha. In the evening, we'll enjoy a cultural show featuring traditional Kandyan dances and music.

Today we'll travel to the picturesque town of Nuwara Eliya, known as Sri Lanka's "Little England" due to its colonial architecture and cool climate. We'll visit a tea plantation and factory to learn about the tea-making process and sample some of the finest Ceylon tea. Later in the day, we'll explore the town and visit the scenic Lake Gregory, surrounded by lush green hills.

Today, you will embark on one of the world's most scenic train journeys, from Nuwara Eliya to Ella. The journey takes you through some of Sri Lanka's most picturesque landscapes, including lush green hills, tea plantations, and cascading waterfalls. Once you arrive in Ella, you can explore the town and visit the stunning Ravana Falls, one of Sri Lanka's most famous waterfalls. Later in the day, we'll visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge, a marvel of engineering that spans a deep gorge.

After a hearty breakfast, we'll head towards the golden sands of Bentota, one of Sri Lanka's most sought-after beach destinations. En route, we'll stop at Kitulgala, where you can try your hand at white-water rafting on the Kelani River or visit the historic Belilena Cave. Once in Bentota, you'll have the rest of the day to unwind on the beach, take a dip in the warm Indian Ocean, or try some water sports such as jet skiing or windsurfing. As the day draws to a close, we'll take you on a boat ride along the Madu River, where you'll witness the unique biodiversity of Sri Lanka's mangrove forests.

In the evening, after enjoying the Colombo nightlife, we'll treat you to a delicious dinner at a local restaurant, where you can indulge in Sri Lanka's delectable cuisine.
